A 35-year-old man presents with a one day history of whitish discharge from his penis. He also has mildly uncomfortable urination. No hematuria. He has no other medical history and is not on other medications. He reports being sexually active with women as well as a new sexual partner in the last month. A mild mucopurulent discharge is seen at the urethral orifice and there is no inguinal lymphadenopathy. Review of symptoms is otherwise negative.
