Case 6

A 30-year-old female presents with a green vaginal discharge and vaginal itching for six days. She reports a history of condomless oral/vaginal sex with four male partners and two female partners in the past three months. She denies a history of fevers, chills, rashes, genital lesions, dysuria, hematuria or abnormal vaginal bleeding. She was screened for gonorrhea and chlamydia with negative results five months ago during her routine annual visit with her gynecologist and her last Pap-smear was normal. Speculum exam reveals a moderate amount of yellow-green vaginal discharge with the presence of cervical petechiae.
